My favorite food is not a specific one, but rather those in
which I can taste new flavors and, even more so, those in which I can share a
good meal with loved ones.
If I had to choose a specific dish, it would be
"pantrucas", especially the ones my great-grandmother used to make. I
remember they had unique flavors that I still can't replicate or taste to this
day. One of my theories is that the ingredients she used were grown and
harvested by herself. She always told me that the key to a successful harvest
was the love and dedication she put into the vegetables and greens. She also
mentioned that compost was extremely important, especially cow dung.
Since I was little, I enjoyed good food not only for its
flavors but also for the fact that I could share those small moments with loved
ones and have those great conversations over the table from that time.
